On Saturday 5th June, nine families from Malton and Norton gathered in Castle Gardens for the first Bible Adventures meet-up. Ceri brought the story of Pentecost to life, using Will’s paintings. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed making popcorn over the fire pit, creating giant bubbles, decorating pebbles, making kites and playing “Put the flame onto the Jesus-follower (think Pin the tail on the donkey). Morrisons kindly donated cakes and juice and Paleys loaned their party tent.
